Alexis Rene Escobedo died Friday, March 13 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings after a short illness.
She was born Jan. 15, 1998 in Powell to Lee Robert Elwood Villarreal and Destinee Marie Escobedo.
Alexis attended Westside Elementary School, where she was in the fourth-grade. She enjoyed drawing, writing poetry and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her parents, Lee Robert Villarreal and Destinee Escobedo of Powell; a sister, Serena Villarreal. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Reynaldo Saldana Flores and great aunt Carolina Shaffer Flores.
Pallbearers at the service will be Aniceto Villarreal, Cosme Villarreal, Leovardo Villarreal, Matthew Escobedo, Damien Escobedo and Abel Oritz, Jr.
Memorials can be sent to Destinee Escabedo, 643 Ave. G, Powell WY, 82435.
A rosary will be said at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, followed by visitation at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18 at St. Barbara's Catholic Church.
