Angie Ellen Birky of Santa Paula,California,died on March 14, 2016 in Powell. She was 99.
Angie was born to Nellie (Brown) and Charlie L. Olinger on Jan. 14, 1917, in Bogota, Illinois.
She grew up in Illinois and graduated in a One room county school house..
Angie married John Q. Birky in June 1944 in Olney, Illinois.
The couple lived in Santa Paula, California. Angie worked as a real estate broker, and was a member of the Santa Paula, Filmore California Board of Realtors.
She attended the Life Way Baptist  Church in Santa Paula.
Angie was preceded in death by her husband John; mother Nellie; father Charlie; brother Charles, and grandson Micheal
She is survived by her son Charles O. Birky and daughter-in-law Laura L. Birky; son Michael A. Birky and daughter-in-law Monica Birky; grandsons John C. Birky, C. Sean (Julie) Birky, Christian S. Birky and Quinn Birky; and granddaughter Caitlin Marie Birky; eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister Violet Van Osdol.
Grave side service will be held in Santa Paula, Calif. Thursday March 24, 2016 @ 11:00 am.
