Barbara Patterson passed away on September 23, 2012 at the age of 96.
She was born in Ashley, ND January 13, 1916 to Jacob and Salomina Sackman. At a very young age, her family relocated to Fallon, MT. She came to Powell, WY to finish her schooling and there she met and married Mildon L. (Pat) Patterson. Their first home was on Willwood. They later moved into Powell. After Mildon returned from service in WWII, they homesteaded and lived on Heart Mountain. In 1979, they retired and moved back to Powell.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, six sisters, and six brothers.
She is survived by one sister, Magdelina Guidice, two daughters Norma L. (Herb) Demoney and Mary J. (Gordon) Christensen, one son M. LeRoy Patterson, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four great, great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be at Union Presbyterian Church on Saturday September 29th at 10AM. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery following the service. Arrangements will be handled by Thompson Funeral Home.
