Barbara Ann Satterlee, 79, died Wednesday, October 30, at the Crest Nursing Home in Butte, MT.
Barbara was born July 15, 1934 in Lamont Iowa to Edward and Beulah (Cole) Belzer. Barbara was the oldest of three girls, Barbara, Bonnie and Beverly. She attended school in Independence, IA and graduated in 1952. In 1956 she also became older sister to Jody Brown.
She married her high school sweetheart, Jerome Satterlee, in 1952 in Carmel-by-the-sea, CA where he was stationed in the Navy. They returned to Iowa where they had two sons Craig and Kent.
In 1962 they moved to Wyoming, and then in 1977 to Safford, AZ. In 2006 they returned to Wyoming and settled in Powell.
Barbara is survived by her two sons, Craig (Lisa) and Kent (Becky), her four granddaughters Lacie Satterlee, Kristian (Amos) Olson, Danyon Satterlee, and Lynzee Satterlee, two sisters, Bev Coulter and Jody Drake, and two sisters-in-law, Sharon Kessler and Sheila Lamphier, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held November 5, 2013 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Powell. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery following the service.
Arrangements are being handled by Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory.
