BECKY WITT, 57, of Cody, Wyoming, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012.

Becky was born July 2, 1955, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, the sixth child of Raymond and Kathleen (Roberts) Bower.  A native of Wyoming, Becky graduated from Worland Senior High School where she was active in sports.  She was an all-star first baseman for the Worland Monarchs and was instrumental in assisting this legendary women’s softball team to consecutive state softball titles. Throughout her years Becky worked for several businesses located in the states of Wyoming and briefly in California.  Becky was generous, had a heart of gold, never met a stranger, excelled in competitive sports, and cared deeply for her children, parents, and family.   She will be greatly missed.      
  
Becky is preceded in death by her father Raymond E. Bower, her sister Pam (Bower) Shaffer, her niece Kim (Lofink) Asay, and brother-in-law Jack Hart.    

Becky is survived by her two beloved children, Tobi Brown of Cody and Rick Witt of Grand Junction, Colorado; her loving mother, Kathleen “Katie” Bower of Worland; her two brothers, Jim (Dena) Bower and Ray (Marlene) Bower all of Worland; her three sisters, Peggy (LaVerne) Lofink of Thermopolis, Kathy Hart of Powell, and Cindy Bower of Houston, Texas; her eleven nieces and nephews; her nineteen great nieces and nephews; one great-great nephew, and her numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

The Memorial Service is at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, located at 777 East 7th Street, Powell, WY, and officiated by Pastor Mike Walsh.  Interment is at Riverview Memorial Garden Cemetery in Worland, Wyoming.
