On August 9, 2024 at 9:15 PM(her bedtime) our family gathered around her as the Lord took her home.
Connie was born to Joe and Emma Koch on April 30, 1942 in Billings. She attended school at Cody, WY and then they moved to Bridger, MT where she graduated from High School in 1960. Mom and Dad were married on October 22, 1960 which began their 58 years of marriage. With this union they had four children, Pam, Scott, Cindy and Kim. Bob and Connie made their home in Chance, MT where farming and ranching became their way of life. Mom loved this way of life. She enjoyed working cattle, driving truck, and working at the sugar beet dump. In 1993 they sold the farm and headed for new adventures in Powell, Wyoming. Her heart was always at the farm! She then worked in retail. She was a great cook and if you stopped by you never left hungry! She loved to sew, play cards, read and loved her faith. Her life changed so much in 2018 with the loss of Dad and two years later being diagnosed with cancer.
Connie is survived by her children, Pam(Steve), Scott, Cindy(Wade), Kim(Bryan), 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Her legacy will live on strong! Her brother Gene(Eileen), Gerald(Betty), Marilyn(Roben), Denis(Kathy), Brother and sisters-in-laws Gene(Althea),Donna and many nieces and nephews.
She dearly missed her sister, Kathleen, who passed away in February.
A special thank you to Stillwater Hospice for helping us to keep Mom comfortable at home. We can’t say thank you enough for your awesome care!
