Donald James Lane

Donald James Lane passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10, surrounded by family and close loving companion, Carolyn Shelby Lynch, eight days before his 79th birthday.

Don loved sports and played baseball for the American Legion. He played basketball for Powel High School. Don continued for many years with softball, bowling and golf. He enjoyed the outdoors and did his fair share of hunting and fishin. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. 

Don is survived by his son Terrell Keith Lane of Billings, Montana; daughter LeeLynn of Billings, Montana; and brother Terry Lane of Billings, Montana.

Preceding him in death were his parents Franklin and Betty Jo Lane, and one sister, Martha Sharon Gray.

There will be a memorial service Thursday, Feb. 17, at Hope Lutheran Church in Powell, Wyoming, at 10 AM
