In loving memory of Edith May (Bigler) Jones Johnson
Edith was born on the 8 July 1940 in Basin Wyoming, a daughter of Orville Bigler and Elvira Dobson. She died the 28 Oct 2012 in Rio Rancho New Mexico
on her way to her daughter Anita Olsen's house in Brigham City Utah.
Edith was married three time. Her first husband Donald Clark, (Div), and deceased from Basin, Wyoming. Fred Ray Jones, deceased, from Otto Wyoming, who she later married in the Jordan River Temple. Bill Johnson, deceased from Nacogdoches, Texas.
Edith loved to make quilts, crochet, read, grow a big garden, Watermelon farming, and the great outdoors. She worked hard and never complain and enjoyed severing others. She was a Nurses Aid in Greybull and Basin Wyoming and later in life received her RN degree from Powell and Sheridan Wyoming.
Edith was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings in her church.
She especially love teaching Primary. One of her great joys was to talk to people about her church where ever she lived, she also enjoyed Genealogy.
Edith had a great sense of humor even up to the day she died. She has several brothers and sisters. Her brothers are Edwin (Clara) Bigler in Utah, Perrie (Floyd) Bigler in Arizona, Bill (Julie) Bigler Utah, Myron (Georgia) Bigler deceased in Utah, Dale (Joanne) Bigler, in Utah, and Clinton Dean (Wendy) Bigler, deceased in Colorado. Her sisters are Charmayne (Tom deceased) Kasparian in Utah, Dona (Duane) Cecil, in Arizona, Rose Ann (Randy) Bishop, in Pennsylvania.
She has several children. Jean (Roy) Marcus, in Wyoming, Alice Chatwin, in Utah, Janice (John) Henry, in Utah, Brett (Chris) Jones, in Oklahoma, Anette (Renee) Quammen, in Wyoming, Anita (Howard) Olsen, in Utah, Debbie (Micheal) Anderson, in Washington, CJ (Amber) Jones, deceased, in Hawaii, Frank Jones Lavine , Marsha Jones Lavine, David Jones Lavine.
She has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She preceded in death by her parents, her son CJ Jones, and her brothers Myron and Dean Bigler.
Edith spent her last days in the Texas hospital valiantly fighting heart failure, kidney failure, and a wound that would not heal.
Her greatest wish was to be out of Texas and with her family. She accomplish both.
