EmiLee Ann Bapst

EmiLee Ann Bapst, 16, died June 26, 2010, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. 

EmiLee was born on Oct. 7, 1993, in Cody.

She was a student at Powell High School, where she was a member of the girls’ soccer team. EmiLee enjoyed cooking, camping, spending time with friends and family and caring for animals.

She is survived by her parents, David and Andrea Giles of Powell; sister Asia Bapst of Powell; uncles and aunts Cory Baker (Julie), Jared Baker (Carrie), Sarah Hernandez (James), Daryl Giles (Merrie), Dan Williamson (Jennifer), Kenny Brandt (Becky), Beth Link (Jeff) and Shandel Baker; grandparents Linda and Kirk Waggoner of Cody, Harvey and Gayle Baker of Arizona, Patty Giles of Powell, Bill Giles of Cody and Peggy Buntin of Powell; along with numerous cousins. 

A celebration of EmiLee’s life will be held on Saturday, July 3, from 2-4 p.m. at teh Powell Search and Rescue Hall, located on Road 10 next to Fremont Motors. All of EmiLee’s friends are invited and anyone else who would like to attend is welcome. A memory board will be available for people to write their memories of EmiLee or to post pictures of her.
