Glenn Richard French

Glenn Richard French died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at his home on Heart Mountain. He was 56,
Glenn was born July 8, 1955 to Lawrence Lyle and Dorothy (Roe) French. He graduated from Powell High School, and on Aug. 11, 1989, he married Beth Barnwell French at their home on Heart Mountain. Glenn was a farmer, under the watchful eye of Heart Mountain. He was a true conservationist and was a passionate steward of the land. He understood that one had to be good to the land in order for it to be good in return. In the winters he worked in the oil fields and as a hunting guide. He was a big game hunter, horn hunter, hiker and wildlife enthusiast, as well as a loving husband, father and friend to many.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Lyle French.
He is survived by his wife Beth, daughter Betsy Barnwell French, brothers Larry (Toni), Jerry (Rose), Tim (Becky) and sister Judy (Gene) Braten.
Services will be held at the Eagles Lodge in Powell on Friday, Aug. 12 at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Megan Nickles officiating.
