Grace Mata Synhorst
Grace Mata Synhorst, of Powell, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Powell Valley Healthcare. She was 103.
Grace was born Dec. 9, 1906 in Monarch, Mont., to Frank R. and Mata B. (Holzheimer) Servoss. She graduated high school in Belt, Mont., in 1925, and married Laurence M. Synhorst March 28, 1929, in Great Falls, Mont.
Grace and Laurence owned and operated a painting business, "The Brighten Up Shop" in Great Falls.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughters Audrey Sintek and Nancy Godard; one brother; two sisters; and one great-granddaughter.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Waeckerlin, of Helena, Mont.; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Thompson Funeral Home assisted the family.
