Irma D. Lopez of Powell died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at Powell Valley Hospital. She was 74.
She was born Oct. 2, 1936 in La Grulla, Texas, to Fidel and Tomasa (Villareal) Diaz.
Irma married Manuel G. Lopez on Feb. 8, 1958, in La Grulla, Texas.
She was a member of the Catholic church.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Fidel and Tomasa; and daughter, Alicia.
She is survived by daughters Edna (Mark) Snyder of Clark; Maria (Matt) Robbins of Donald, Ore.; Amanda (Marty) Goddard of Eugene, Ore.; son Norberto Lopez of Billings; brother Fidel (Rosa) Diaz Jr. of McAllen, Texas; sisters Elia Pena of Rio Grande City, Texas; Dalia Diaz of La Grulla, Texas; Lilia Rivera-Hector of La Grulla, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Thompson Funeral Home, with services to follow at 1 p.m. at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
