Irma Ruby Villarreal

Irma Ruby Villarreal passed away on Aug. 17, 2021, in Billings, Montana.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas, to Cosme Tijerina and Guadalupe Davila. She married Leovardo Villarreal in Hargill, Texas, in 1970.
She liked to clean, take care of her kids and grandkids, and loved to listen to music and dance.

She is survived by her husband; Leo, her sons, Leovardo Villarreal Jr. (Laura Davila), Aniceto Villarreal (Melodie Beier), and Cosme Villarreal (Malinda De La Cruz); brother Eliazar Tijerina; sisters, Hilda Gonzalez (Eddie Gonzalez), Edna Mae Chong, Thelma Ortega, Noemi Gonzalez, and Maribel Tijerina; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Cosme Tijerna Jr. and Ricardo Davila, grandaughter Alexis Escobedo, and son Lee Robert Ellwood Villarreal.

A graveside service was held on Aug. 20, 2021, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell.
