James Chester Campbell, beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 29, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He was born in Cody, Wyoming on May 5, 1940.
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Jim will tell you that he was one of the most caring, genuine, and kind-hearted individuals you could ever meet. His selfless nature and unwavering support made a significant impact on the lives of those around him. Jim had a knack for bringing joy to others with his witty jokes and dry sense of humor – his presence alone would bring a smile to your face.
Jim's passing leaves a void in the world, but also reminds us how lucky we were to have known him. While we mourn his loss, we take solace in knowing that heaven has gained an extraordinary soul.
A memorial service will be held to honor and celebrate Jim's life on October 14, 2023. The service will take place at Lovell Bible Church located at 56 E Main Street in Lovell, Wyoming. It will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to join together during this time to share their memories and find comfort in each other's presence.
Jim is preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce Campbell and his stepson Richard Munsinger.
He was also deeply cherished by his Children John (Jesse) Munsinger, Steve (Nancy) Munsinger, Carol (Richard) O’Brien, Sue (Jim) Julich, Deb (Tim) Worden, Cathy (Roger) Nelson, Michelle (Todd) Stebner, Christine (Jim) Sanders as well as his 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Their lives were enriched by Jim's unconditional love and radiant spirit.
In honor of Jim's memory and his passion for helping others, the family kindly requests that any charitable donations be made to the Lovell Bible Church. Jim dedicated his life to making a positive difference in the world.
As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, let us hold onto the legacy of love and kindness that Jim leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that he made this world a brighter place for all who had the privilege of knowing him.
