James P Lyon

James P. Lyon, 87, of Powell, died, January 11, 2011 after a short illnes. He was born in Denver, Co on June 3, 1923 to Eugene O. and Hilda P. Lyon. He grew up in Denver and after serving in the Navy during WWII he returned to Denver and married H. Marie Wood on June 21, 1947. They lived and worked in Denver until their retirement when they moved to Powell.

They celebrated 63 years of marriage together.

Jims first love was his family. He also loved a good game of golf and softball which he played long into his senior years.

he is survived by his wife marie; his two children, Cheryl (Gene) Schuler of Powell, Tim (Cam) Lyon of Evanston; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
