Julie Ann Dansie, 81, of Cody, passed away Tuesday October 29, 2024 from cancer at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Julie was born on October 28, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ernest Uhlan Swalberg and Margaret Stahr Swalberg. She grew up in Murray, Utah and graduated from Murray High School in 1962. The couple lived in Salt Lake City where their sons Shawn, Joseph, and Curt were born. They then moved to Cody where twin daughters Amy and Michelle were born.
Julie was blessed to nurture and raise her kids at home. Julie and her husband Craig provided a loving, stable, and encouraging environment that resulted in a wonderful family.
Julie’s love of service to her family and the Lord was shown through her dedication to the many years of temple attendance and family history work.
Julie also showed her love and faith through the simple act of growing a garden, knitting beautiful pieces and providing an environment of unlimited love and support to her 10 grandchildren.
Julie’s humble and quiet nature provided a closeness to the spirit drawing us all closer to her. We will miss her beautiful smile, her loving nature, and the joy she brought to this world.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Parley Dansie; children, Shawn (Rachel) of Draper, Utah, Curt (Amy) of Cody, Amy (Scott) of Herriman, Utah, Michelle (David) of Idaho Falls, Idaho and 10 grandchildren Tanner, Kelci and Sierra Dansie, Hailey, Tyler and Cooper Dansie, Jaden, Connor and Bryson Lathrop and Emmalynn Hodges.
