Karen Maria Liner, 73, of Powell, Wyoming, passed away on September 20, 2024.
Born on January 31, 1951, in Atlantic City, NJ, she was the daughter of Jeanne Elizabeth Clark and James Joseph Quinn. Following her father's military service, the family moved along the East Coast before settling in Fall River, MA, where Karen graduated from BMC Durfee High School in 1969 and later from Truesdale Nursing School.
In 1973, Karen relocated to Powell, Wyoming, where she lovingly raised her two daughters. Known for her dedication, she served as a cherished nurse in the Park County community for over 40 years. In her younger days, she enjoyed outdoor adventures like camping, skiing and hiking, as well as spontaneous road trips. Karen had a passion for crafting and sewing, creating beautiful creations she gifted to friends, coworkers, and patients. You could often find her listening and dancing to the beloved hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, James Quinn; mother, Jeanne Quinn; sister, Karla Quinn; brother, Kevin Quinn; and best friend, Julie Havig.
She is survived by her daughters, Dani Liner and Megan (Sam) Finkle; granddaughters, Natalie and Mallory; brother, Brendan Quinn; sisters, Karol (Byran) Creighton, Kirsten Quinn, and Kara (William) Caplan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Karen will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, and nurse. While her absence is deeply felt, her spirit and memory will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
