Keith "Buck" Loren Wells

Buck Wells was born on May 27th, 1962 and peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family on November 3rd, 2024.

Buck lived and traveled many places in his lifetime. His last residence was Powell, Wyoming, but home was where he was born, in Buffalo, Wyoming, and he traveled home to Buffalo every chance he got. He was a precocious child and gave his parents and teachers a run for their money. His many shenanigans became legends amongst friends and family, even continuing throughout adulthood, often known as 2 Beer Buck as that was usually his limit. He never met a stranger as it was just a friend he hadn’t met yet. He was a master of many things. He enjoyed learning and becoming proficient at many trades. Buck’s love for animals and children was limitless and they loved him in return. He got so tickled when children approached him and started telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas! Buck adopted many a child along his life’s path. He met his soulmate, Toni Daniel, 23 years ago and took on 3 daughters whom he loved with all of his heart. His love for his grandbabies was limitless.

Buck is survived by his soulmate of 23 years, Toni Daniel. Buck asked Toni to be his lifelong companion on February 14th, 2002 and they were inseparable ever since. He is also survived by his mother, Sharon Wells; daughters Tia (Paul) Raynor, Shawna (AJ) Mondragon, and Danielle Williams who blessed Buck and Toni with four grandchildren, Daisy, Zachary, Laila, and Emerie; brothers Allen and Jay (Yin Yin “Cat”) Wells; and nieces Inara and Aurora.

Buck always talked about his 2 sons, Kyle and Dale Wells that passed before him. He is also preceded in death by his father, Loren ”Buzz” Wells, and grandparents, Helen and Ad Wells and Clifford and Loveda Wilson.

Buck is now in heaven and making shovel pancakes with Kyle and Dale. Ride with the wind, Buck. We love you and miss that chuckle of yours.

Buck has been cremated and his Celebration of Life will be held in Buffalo, Wyoming on a date yet to be determined in late spring or early summer of 2025.
