Lena Josefa Alvarado of Lovell died Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Powell. She was 42.

Lena was born Feb. 22, 1970 in Lovell to Ramona (Montanez) and John W. Romero. She married Jose Alvarado on Nov. 1, 1987 in Basin.

Lena was a homemaker and affiliated with the Catholic church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and helping all those she knew.

Lena was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ramona.

She is survived by her husband Jose; sons Daniel (Lillian) Alvarado, Ruben Alvarado, Adam (Calli) Alvarado; daughter Marcy Romero; brothers Felipe Romero, Juanito Romero; sisters Frances Flores, Monica Romero and Melinda Romero, and one grandchild.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Powell at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 3. Viewing will be one hour prior to services.
