Loise M. Moore of Medford, Ore., died Friday, March 16, 2012. She was 92.
Loise was born April 29, 1919 in La Harpe, Kan., to Minnie Marvel Parkhurst and Clarence Chester Pollet. She was educated in Kansas, and in 1938 she married Kenneth Crumrine. They later divorced. She married Logan W. "Bill" Moore in 1957.
Loise worked for JC Penney for many years, and then became a full-time homemaker. She belonged to the Rock Club, the DOES, Homemaker Club, Widows Club and was a Southern Baptist. Her hobbies included sewing and hunting rocks. She never learned to drive, and was an avid walker. She helped raise three generations of children and grandchildren.
Loise was preceded in death by her husband Bill Moore, son Donald Crumrine and granddaughter Becky.
She is survived by sons David and Patty Crumrine of Medford, Ore., and Glen and Terry Moore of Meeteetse, 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held in Powell at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery next to her husband Bill. Memorials may be made to donor's favorite charity in Loise's name.
