Loyal Verne Dodd, born August 8, 1933, to Lloyd and Ethel Dodd in Thayer Kansas. He was gloriously received into the loving arms of Jesus Christ his Savior today. A devoted pentecostal christian, church building missionary to Mexico, soul winner, loving father, husband, brother and Korean War Air Force veteran.
Loyal is survived by his beautiful and caring wife Pamela, his two devoted sons, Loyal Jr. and wife Cindy of Clover SC; David and wife Gerri of Clover SC; and daughter Dawn and husband Ivan of Lovell WY. Loyal and Pam have 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grand children.  His siblings include his beloved brother Ted & Lillian Dodd of Lovell, brother Ron Harned (deceased), Lee and LeaAnn Harned of Arizona, Billie Jo & Jack Ruddel of Arizona, Joy & Keith Ledbetter of Colorado, and loving sister Debbie & Pete Parent of California.
Loyal enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 16 and served his country proudly in the US and England. Later, he was a successful ironworker and business man, owning and operating one of the largest steel erection companies in Chicago, IL through the 1990's. He later retired to the Lovell area owning and operating the 700 acre Beaver Flats farm with his family. In 2006 he moved to SC to provide comfort and support to his ailing pastor and returned to WY after his pastor's passing in 2011.
He is loved and truly missed, but we know we will be with him again in glory. Jesus is preparing a place for us now.
