Margo Eckerman Henderson

Margo Henderson, 69, passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2024, in Thermopolis, Wyoming. She was born Feb. 12, 1955 to John and Ada (Weatherman) Eckerman and spent her years growing up in Clark, Wyoming. She graduated from Powell High School in 1973. Margo met and married Ralph Henderson on horseback in her parent’s yard June 17, 1978. Together they had a life full of adventures. Margo followed in her mom’s footsteps and made a career driving school bus. She loved horseback riding, riding four wheelers and snowmobiles, hunting elk in the hills around Clark. She also loved getting together to play cards and going to Bridger to play the machines. Margo was a kind and generous woman who liked to make sure everyone was fed.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ada Eckerman, her husband Ralph and brother-in-law Jim Black. She is survived by two sons and a daughter: Stacey Henderson, Tye (Tammi) Henderson and Tess (Cordell) Miller; four amazing grandchildren: Garret and Wyatt Henderson, Cassidy and Camryn Miller; three sisters Gayle (Dwight) Brunsvolt, Sonya Black and Linda Eckerman; and many nieces and nephews.

The celebration of life will be Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Bennett Creek Church in Clark, Wyoming. A light luncheon will follow.
