Opal Bailey died on Feb. 26, 2016, in Denton, Texas. She was 92 years young.
Opal was born in Rexburg, Idaho, on Feb. 20, 1924, to George and Ida Harris.
She was married to John Bailey and moved to Wyoming from Nebraska. Opal lived in the Cody area for 70 years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and great-grandmother.
Opal was active in her church and with the Republican Party. She worked and retired from JC Penney in Cody. She was also a devoted caregiver too many in the Cody area.
Opal is survived by her children Beverly Rochester, Judy Regnier, John Baily, Darlene Barnard, Rose Branson, Richard Baily and Elizabeth Dove. She was greatly loved and will be missed.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1407 13th St. in Cody. Viewing will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
