Robert Dale Wood

Robert Dale Wood was the second of five children born to Robert Thornton Wood and Marita Inez Thibodeau Wood.  He was born in Cortez Colorado on February 28th 1962.  Throughout his life those who knew Bob know he was extended many invitations to return home to heaven and always found a reason to refuse the offer.  On September 11th 2015 he finally accepted his invitation to go home.  
He was welcomed home by both his parents as well as his older brother William Pearly Wood and his younger brother and lifelong best friend David Glen Wood.  
Although we are mourning the loss of his smile and his vast knowledge of all things rock and roll we are all comforted by the fact that he is once again able to sing and dance with some of the greats.  
Bob never had any children of his own but was a huge influence in the lives of all of his nieces and nephews, who are way too numerous to name.
His memory will continue through his immediate family which includes his younger brother Darin (Crystal) Wood of Powell and his Sister Alta (Denton) Davis also of Powell.  He will also live on in the memory of all his extended family which includes cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews across 3 states.  
We will be celebrating his life on Tuesday September 15th 2015 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell Wy at 10 am.
