Sheila Rae Pease, age 74, passed peacefully with her daughters by her side, Sunday, February 21 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, MT. She was the daughter of the late Don and Loye Stanley from Powell, Wyoming.
Sheila was born November 27, 1941 and attended schools in Powell, graduating with the class of 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Allen Pease and a great-grandaughter, Lily Renee McCullough.
Sheila was blessed with five daughters, the men in their lives and the grandchildren they gave her. Kim (Matt) Lawson and Janell (Sanford) Cline of Powell, Deena Harrison (Mike Norfolk) of Renton WA, Leslie (Mark) Barbour of Milwaukie OR and Kellie (Mike) Johnson of Renton WA . The grandchildren she leaves behind are Brynn and Logan McCullough of Powell, Landon Dunning of Billings MT, Travis Dunning of Fort Collins CO, Lynton (Emily) Lamb of Spokane WA, Emma Lyn Norfolk of Renton WA, Cory Lawson of St. Charles MO and Kelsey (Alex) Ticknor of Casper WY. She also had two great-granchildren, Lucy and Nicholas Ticknor of Casper.
The last 20-plus years of her life were dedicated to the tastebuds of the students/faculty/staff at Northwest College where she was famous for her soups and was also known to whip out delicious baked goods and party hors d'oeuvres. Additionally, there were many fortunate enough to share a laugh over some of the things that came out of her mouth.
Cremation has taken place and Sheila requested there be no funeral service. The family wishes to thank all those who visited with her in the past few months and also those who cared for her during her last illness. Memorial donations may be sent to the charity of your choice in her name.
