Shirley June Tack (Baker) passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012. She was 93
Shirley was born on June 6, 1919, the daughter of Leroy and Nell Baker. She attended East Grand Forks, Minnesota schools, and married Floyd "Bud" Tack on June 6, 1937. They farmed in the East Grand Forks area until 1965. Shirley was employed by the East Grand Forks school system and was involved with Mendenhall Presbyterian Church, and the VFW Auxilliary.
Survivors are sons, John L. (Lois) Baker of Mission, Texas, Daniel V. (Sharon) Baker Dilworth, Minnesota, Bennett Baker Logan, Utah; daughter Cleo Rae (Tom) Lealos of Powell, 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and sisters Mickey (Harry) Schroeder Waseca, Minnesota, and Nell (John) Cash of Bemidji, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, her son, Phillip, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
