Tamie Lou Close

Tamie Lou Close, 50.
The angels came I am not alone, the angels came and now I am home.
Tamie was born July 21, 1961, in Cody, Wyoming the daughter and seventh child of Georgia and Harold Close.  Tamie lived her entire life on the banks of the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River with her mother and caregiver for 50 years. Tamie was preceded in death by her father Harold, mother Georgia, brothers Charles (Chuck) Close and Jerald (Jerry) Close.
She is survived by sister-in-laws Virginia (Chuck's wife), of Fresno, California, Bonnie (Jerry's wife) of Walla Walla, Washington,  brothers, Glen (Dana) of Eatonville, Washington, Bart of Frenchtown, Montana, Roy (Ronda) of Billings, Montana, Tom (Norma) of Powell, Wyoming, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Service for Tamie will be held Saturday February 25th (1:30 PM ) be at Thompson Funeral Home, 111 West Third, Powell, and WY.  There will be a time to share with family and friends following the service.  There will be family memorial graveside service at a later date for the internment of Tamie’s ashes.
We are thankful for Tamie, throughout her life she inspired us and provided many lessons of compassion and encouragement to be her voice for those who are confined by their disabilities but not by grace. Dance little sister, dance on the streets of gold.  We want to thank Deb Spence, Tamie’s Case Mgr., and Ayda Hammen along with her caring staff at Heart Mountain Health for their giving of themselves for Tamie our Mother and family over the past several years.
When you miss me, think of the joy that I have in the body I never had here on earth and how wonderful it will be for us to meet again.  I have so much to tell you.
